My Story - Robert Moseley Interior Design

My Story

From a young age, I was captivated by the art of arranging spaces. Growing up, I constantly rearranged my family’s furniture. During high school, my eye for aesthetics extended behind the camera lens as I captured the world around me through photography, refining my understanding of composition and balance.

After graduation, I immersed myself in the industry by working as an assistant to an established interior designer, absorbing every bit of knowledge I could. Armed with these foundational skills, I ventured out on my own and opened House of Moseley—first in Bakersfield, and then in Paso Robles, California. These retail shops now feature a curated selection of household items, from bridal registry essentials to timeless décor accents.

“Your home should be a reflection of who you are—every detail has a story to tell.”

A Curated Experience: Personal Touches & Holiday Magic

My approach to design goes far beyond aesthetics. I take the time to understand each client’s tastes, dreams, and existing pieces, ensuring that every detail feels personal and inspired. I’ve cultivated strong relationships with a wide range of vendors—from iconic names like MacKenzie-Childs and Juliska to custom lines like Lee Industries and Kasmir—allowing me to source one-of-a-kind pieces that perfectly complement any home.

In addition to year-round transformations, I’m known for my holiday installations that bring magic and joy into every space. With the support of my family—my wife, sister, and mother—we create welcoming environments that reflect the personality and aspirations of those who call them home. After all, if you don’t have a signature Robert Moseley bow on your Christmas tree, is it really the holidays?
